Information

Pencil, with partial stumping, on light cardboard (reverse of a invitation card). 10,3 × 14,9 cm (4 × 5 ⅞ in.). Monogrammed and dated upper right: A. M. / 89. On the reverse of a invitation card from the sculptor Louis Sussmann-Hellborn (1828–1908) and his wife for a lunch at Kurfürstenstr. 134 in Berlin. Detail study for the gouache „Brunnenpromenade in Kissingen“ of 1890 (Tschudi 674; today in the Museum Georg Schäfer, Schweinfurt).
