Bio

One particular area of interest is the art of Romanticism, particularly from Dresden and the northern German regions, where landscape, emotions and the power of imagination found new forms of artistic expression. We also focus on the painterly freshness and immediacy of oil studies, placing them alongside the individual, often symbolist cultural hallmarks of the fin-de-siècle, whose surprising modernity continues to captivate. With these selected artworks, we invite you on an inspiring journey of discovery through the art world’s leading to Modernism, sharpening perspectives and bringing exceptional creations into the here and now.
