Bronze with black-brown patina, mounted on stone base. 29 × 21 × 28 cm (without base) (11 ⅜ × 8 ¼ × 11 in. (without base)). Monogrammed at the neck at the back: GK. On the rear short side of the plinth with the foundry mark: H.NOACK BERLIN. Catalogue raisonné: Berger 17. One of circa 6 posthumous casts. Cast from 1974.

This bust is based on Kolbe's "Tänzerin", which is considered his best-known work. Kolbe exhibited it at the Berlin Secession in 1912, where the Berlin National Gallery acquired it on the condition that it remained unique.
