Pen and brush and India ink in black and brown on yellowish paper. 50,2 × 37,4 cm (19 ¾ × 14 ¾ in.). Signed and dated lower right: ELKirchner 24. Inscribed and dated in pencil upper right: Der Reichskunstwart Edwin Redslob 24. Estate stamp in violet (Lugt 1570b) and the registry number inscribed in pen and black India ink on the reverse lower left: F Da/Ba 2.
