Book: 28,5 x 28,5 cm (11 ¼ x 11 ¼ in.). Each woodcut signed. Signed in the colophone. There also inscribed in pencil lower left: Die farbigen Holzschnitte wurden unter meiner ständigen Leitung bei Bruckmann auf Handpresse gedruckt Kandinsky. Catalogue raisonné: Roethel 71-74, 85, 95-140, 142-146. – Roethel (Bücher) 9. From the edition of 300 numbered copies from a total edition of 345 copies. Publisher R. Piper & Co., Munich 1912. Traces of the woodcuts' ink on the opposing pages, the colour of the front cover partially slightly faded.

The present copy of „Klänge“ is an exceedingly rare example in which each individual print has been signed by the artist rather than simply in the colophone..
