Charcoal on paper (from a sketch book). 22,7 × 30 cm (8 ⅞ × 11 ¾ in.). Signed lower left: EBarlach. Catalogue raisonné: Probst 1264. [3647]

Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges without tears or losses. In the centre of the upper edge, one short slight crease (0,8 cm). At the lower edge left of centre, one minor pinpoint irregularity in the paper surface. The paper with even light time staining. In the upper right corner, one small scuff mark with subtle difference in surface shine. Isolated, miniscule foxing. On the reverse, in the upper sheet corners remnants of former paper mounting; here slight circular pressure marks on the front. In the upper corners firmly mounted onto the support cardboard
